One of the top choices you have to make in Club Penguin is which color you want your penguin to be. There are 13 color options available for players to choose for their penguin. The colors are:

• Dark Blue
• Green
• Peach
• Black
• Red
• Yellow
• Purple
• Dark green
• Brown
• Pink
• Orange
• Light blue
• Lime green

There was also recently a vote held for a new 14th color option for penguins. Club Penguin players were allowed to vote at a special booth in the forest. The results will not be announced until the August 7th Club Penguin Times newspaper comes out, and the winning choice will be one of these three selections.

• Lavender
• Maroon
• Aqua

When you sign up for an account you choose your starting color for your penguin. But you are not stuck with this color. You can change the color at any time by going to the Gift Shop in Town and then opening up the Penguin Style catalog. In this catalog, you can buy new colors for 20 coins each. Anyone, including non-members, can purchase the colors.
